Re: Namecoin Local PGP Keyserver Plugin
Specifically what spec is this implementing to parse the id/ values? (I realize you gave example names, including mine, but this isn't really a substitute for a spec.) Is there another one than this: https://wiki.namecoin.org/index.php?title=Identity ? Well, frankly that spec is horrifyingly comple...

Re: [NMDF] Namecoin Marketing and Development Fund
Moved the NMDF wallet to Electrum and sent Domob a copy of the seed (securely). Also I created a pull request for a new NMDF donation address on the homepage (see signed address below). Updated the NMDF spreadsheet. I reimbursed myself for the hosting costs I paid for (at current price which made s...

Re: Encrypted wallet corrupted, 5000 NMC reward for recovery
That is from 5 years ago exactly. this is ancient tech in v0.3.80, it comes from Bitcoin v0.3.xx and had encryption added later on. Did you try the berkeley db database recovery? Maybe you could retry to get better/more data out of the disk, at least I would store a complete image of the disk just ...

Re: Donations/Fees to get on Exchange List
Kraken is threatening to remove it to lack of volume. We are going to need to get some marketing as soon as the hard fork is scheduled. Need more volume. FWIW, I'm unsurprised that Kraken had low volume for BTC/NMC. Everyone I've encountered is using ShapeShift for that. btw, I could not find NMC o...

Re: nameGUI - an RPC frontend GUI
updated to v0.3 I'll have to try it, currently I'm on... can't tell there's no version info in the GUI :-) But it was installed couple of months ago so the new version should be better. Oh, it's v0.2, says Windows' Programs & Features. One thing I discovered - and the mention of "lost" transactions...

More Room
The last year was a somewhat rough time for me with the Namecoin project as I was in disagreement way too often. Also I want to focus more on paid work this year. So it's high time for me to step back a little and give more room to the next generation of Namecoin team members. I made Jeremy (Bioliza...

Full Disclosure
One of our team members started working for Google this year. His work for the Namecoin project is completely independent from his day job. Out of respect for privacy of the developer in question, we will not comment further. Like many other projects such as Tor, Namecoin has always allowed anonymou...

Re: .bit Redirection to Legacy Domains
I am talking about #3. With bitproxy it should be a piece of cake to implement without TLS and a bit of effort with TLS.
So we should use a new field name. "redirect" ?
