Registering new TLD costs money. I'm wondering if dot-bit community is able to donate enough money?

Re: 3 ideas to make namecoin much more accessible
We need more DNS-suffix services. Currently we have none! This is described here: http://dot-bit.org/HowToBrowseBitDomains#Full_support_with_DNS_suffix_resolution The installation on Windows is as simple as downloading and launching tiny .reg file, then (probably) rebooting PC. .reg file should look...

Re: Namecoin to zone file
Is there a DNS server available that is only capable of zone transfers? This way we could configure the DNS we already use (I'll never use BIND, for instance, thanks to DJB's advertisement ) in an universal way. NameCoin AXFR should be configured by, probably, the only argument: suffix. For instance...

CACert SSL for NameCoin
NameCoin's way of storing SSL certificates is not compatible with the way most browsers check them. In an IPv6 internet a server owner has at least /64 block of IPv6 addresses and so he can use one SSL certificate on several domains and another SSL certificate on another domains. Most of the Interne...

Re: Namecoin to zone file
https://github.com/sysfrog/namecoin link is broken
So is http://bluishcoder.bit/bitcoin-pool/namecoin-hosts.c (hosts.txt)
Do anybody have a backup copies?
UPD Oops, I've noticed the "bit" part in "bluishcoder.bit".
Due to lack of viable options, I'm still not .bit*enabled.

NameCoin as an I2P name service
I2P lacks advanced DNS support from the beginning. There are addressbooks. There is a private addressbook for every user and there are public addressbooks that are being consulted by other users. Different users might use different set of public addressbooks. For example, inr.i2p is rather popular ...

DNS suffix: yet another way to enable .bit
I've added some info http://dot-bit.org/HowToBrowseBitDomains#Full_support_with_DNS_suffix_resolution Most DNS servers are useless as DNS suffix because queries constructed by OS resolver contain ".bit.", and these DNS proxies lack .bit namecoin.us looked appropriate, but both namecoin.us and bitnam...
