Re: Installed 3.8 but shows "version: 35000"

The problem was that the wrong namecoind was getting run.

`which -a namecoind` returned:

/usr/local/bin/namecoind /usr/bin/namecoind

deleting the first got the right 'namecoind' command being run

Installed 3.8 but shows "version: 35000"

I've used the instructions found here: https://software.opensuse.org/download. ... e=namecoin

to install namecoin 0.3.8 but when I run the namecoind getinfo command, it still shows "version" : 35000

Any suggestions?

Any plans to enable Namecoin thin clients?

Please see this Reddit discussion on Namecoin thin clients: http://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/2rex1u/is_it_just_me_that_thinks_that_something_like/cnf9j6t So my question is, is it possible for Namecoin developers to add an index data structure for names, with a commit of the root hash in the ...

Downloaded 3.24.63, block stuck at 19199

Hi, I just downloaded version 3.24.63, placed the .exe and .dll files in my namecoin directory, and launched the app, but when I do the 'namecoind getinfo' command, the block count it shows doesn't go back 19199. I have 8 connections, so is there any particular reason it's not downloading past 19199?

Name_Update

This might be a stupid question, but how do I do a name_update to reset the expiration date for my domain? Do I need to include a value? I'm currently doing: namecoind name_update d/domain_name '{"map": {"": "1.2.3 .4", "www": "4.3.2.1"}}' And getting this error: error: {"code":-1,"message":"name_up...

Re: More details on the domain registration process

Hi Khal, Thanks for the all work you've done on this. I have another question regarding name-registration. I registered a number of names a week ago, but now they won't list when I input /namecoind name_list. When I check if they're registered, with /namecoind name_scan d/my_domain 1, I do see the d...
