They're all very nice, good work. I prefer the pulsar one - but why must the new logo look so much like every other "coin" logo out there? If that's the case, why not just stick with the original, it's good too, and recognized.

Can you do an example of the pulsar one (seems rather popular) with the button and namecoin written in full -> (n) Namecoin

we are glad that you like the drafts. I've talked together with my Team at work about the Namecoin Logo and Ideas. Our Idea was to visualize a "Name", its not an easy Job.

For Pulsar we've had the following Idea / Design Decissions:

- N is handwritten suggesting on a subtile way a "Name"
- Combining it subtile with a "coin" (the cirle surrounding it)
- Warm and easy design to keep it lightweight
- Removing Italic due to suggest subtile stability. Bitcoins Logo draft is not bad but to game away. Without Italic it has a more serious touch.
- As well we have glued the Main Logo (The "N") and the word Namecoin together to make the Branding at the first marketing wave easier. The "N" in this Logo can be used seperatly.
- The Pulsar Namecoin and the Bitcoin Logo in the draft can be easily shown together in "versus" Graphics like http://bitcoinexaminer.org/namecoin-bit ... fographic/. We've talked to them and they promised to support as with new Infographics.
- Blender ready

We can try your idea to split "N" Graphic and the word Namecoin, but as far as i know we've already tried it in the team. But your idea is written down. At the end we will make a final draft with all user ideas here to be voted for as well.

I think I prefer the old logo...
As shown in (the) second post with an outline.
Are italics bad for some reason?
Don't think a ringed logo works with the rest of the text though.

Of the options, I think I prefer SHAPES the most. The difference between that one and classic appears to be subtle.

I think PULSAR makes a good second choice.

And yes, it would be absolute awsome to have a logo for NameID later on! I'm not good at graphics and design, and I think this could help with getting the site better used and nicer. (But not important ATM, just when you are ready.)

Yes, thats the plan To cover Namecoin Projects with a unified design as well. Later you can get fitting Graphics to Namecoin CI.
