E.g. with the blockchain not being completely downloaded it can easily happen that looking up an IP fails. If the user is not informed why things failed he might think his system does not work at all. How can the user be notified in a comfortable way?
* http error codes? page (only possible with proxy no additional info)
* GUI popup/notification window (not possible with cli?command line / log output for cli)
* launch a local http GUI error page (care needs to be taken this is not launched several times at once)
Other ideas? I tend towards the http GUI error page...
NMControl/middleware Lookup Error User Notification
Re: NMControl/middleware Lookup Error User Notification
Why not simply add a line with a WARNING message to each result output?phelix wrote:(not possible with cli?)[/s]
